Earth Day is as good a day as any to start living your live the green way! As you already know, Alterra was built on the foundation of being a eco-conscious community in La Mesa. They make it even easier to keep up with great green habits by offering convenient amenities that make recycling a breeze! If you get a little frazzled trying to remember to separate your recyclable cans and bottles, then toting them separately to the recycling chute, don’t fret any longer! Just drop off your cans and bottle in the chute beside the trash chute and Alterra will make sure they get separated! Easy as that!
Another great habit to start requires using even less energy than the recycling, literally! Though the temperatures are rising for spring, don’t jump to put the thermostat on full cold blast. (That’s actually a good way to get sick.) Hover the energy efficient AC system between 68 and 70 degrees and watch your energy bill cool off as well.
