Presented by the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum, the 11th Annual Family Moon Festival will take place at the San Diego Historical Museum (located at 404 Third Avenue in downtown San Diego) on Saturday, September 17, 2011, beginning at 1:00 pm and ending at 3:00 pm.
At the 11th Annual Family Moon Festival, you and your family will have the opportunity to take part in the traditional Chinese celebration of the Moon or Mid-Autumn Festival.
There will be a variety of fun and entertainment for the entire family to enjoy, including storytelling of Chinese legends, making mooncakes, Chinese arts and crafts, mooncake samplings, a calligraphy demonstration, and much more!
The 11th Annual Family Moon Festival is open to people of all ages, and admission is $2 per person. However, museum members and children under age 12 will be admitted for free.
