Joan Jett will entertain San Diego following the fireworks display
Popular rock singer Joan Jett will make a summertime appearance in San Diego with her backing band, The Black Hearts. The Del Mar Fairgrounds is hosting the Pennsylvania native. Opening acts will begin performing at 6:30PM. At 9:15, the crowd will be treated to the annual fireworks celebration. At 9:30, more fireworks will hit the crowd as Jett performs “I Love Rock And Roll” among other favorites. “I Love Rock And Roll” was originally a song from the soundtrack of the popular Saturday Night Live-sketch-turned-feature-film, “Wayne’s World”.
